Electric Vehicle Charge Point Engineer Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrician to join our company as an of EV charge point installers throughout Central Scotland. As a fully qualified electrician, you will be tasked with the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You will carry out a variety of installation work including domestic and commercial electric vehicle charge points. You will be working in homes and premises, covering a large geographical area central Scotland with opportunities to work over the UK. This position comes with excellent opportunity with career progression at a rapidly growing business. The b candidate would have the opportunity to build their own service team and must be a self starter. This individual must have the ability to manage people and be enthusiastic in Connekts values as well as the ability to transfer the company principles onto new team members employed. Our Electrical Installers will possess:

  • 2 years proven experience as an electrician
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification including 18th Edition
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to manage customer perception to a high level
  • Excellent communication skills and a great manner in communicating with our customers confidently
  • A professional approach to all aspects of work
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Must be willing to travel (EV Van provided)
  • An understanding of industry governance and compliance

Ideally you will have…

  • Previous experience in a similar role, carrying out domestic & commercial electrical work is desirable
  • C&G 2919-01 Electric Car / Vehicle Charging Point Installers Course
  • C&G 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing
  • Registered with a Part P Competent Person Scheme
  • PASMA and IPAF

  • Brainstorms campaign ideas
  • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter
  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
  • Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes

This position will be on an intern basis initially with potential of a full time position which will include incentives for high achievers.
